We Did it! We had an EKG done! William didn't like the little sticky stickers they stuck to his chest and legs but he sat still and didnt yell too much. It took all of 5 minutes. The tech was very nice and helped me keep william calm by counting to ten very slowly. She even had a Ipod with her that she played music for William on. What can I say the boy loves classical music. Maybe piano lessions are in our furture. His reward for all this was a trip to Mcdonalds. Now lets hope the results are normal.

Dr. Sanders was Great

I was a little worried how the whole day was going to unfold. I tried to do some last minute planning so William wouldn't be upset and fussy. The very first thing I did was tell William he was going to the doctor. He didn't respond or protest but he also didn't give me much if a fight over getting dressed. We left out around 8am to be able to get to savannah by 9 am. I wanted plenty of time to spare. To my shock we ran into hardly no am commute traffic. So I decided we should make a our stop. I went to a convent store and we made a put stop. I was so glad William didn't ask for candy. He usually wants everything ge sees. Maybe it has Alot to do with me telling him were were just going to the bathroom. I don't gave a clue but he didn't fuss and that made it great. Not only did ge sunrise me their but... we passed by a McDonald's and William didn't throw a fit to get chicken nuggets. Maybe ge knew they were still serving breakfast. What ever the reason...I was proud. And last but not least.. William decided he should go potty #2 at the doctors office. He didn't have much of a choice about going. I didn't bring spare cloths of a new pull up. So he has no choice. Dr. Sanders gave me so much info. He has a child himself with Autism.he's written a book and is the director of the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta. He's got a resume a mile long and ge knows his stuff.
