1st Field trip!

I learned last week that williams class would be attending the Special
Olympic Winter Games at the high school. For a week I talked myself
into letting him go and in the same breath I talked myself out of it.
Finially when push came to shove...we did it.William rode the school
bus and I followed. I cried most of the way. I was soo proud for him. I
even managed to get left by the bus too. Hahahaha

1st Field Trip ever! Cont.

A short time later we arrived at the high school.William didnt notice
me when we first got to the school. Once he did he tried to pull the
same..bookbag.ready to go home mess. I told him no and we were going
with his class. we went inside the gym and sat for a solid Hour.
William did fine with the waiting. Other schools were filling into the
gym.So we people watched. The games began at 10. William did well with
the noise of the PA system. He sang the national Anthem.( shocked ) and
he did the pledge of alligance. We danced and did face painting.
William liked the Bounce House the most. He didnt want to play any of
the games. We managed to last 2hrs & 25 minutes. It was a great
learning experience for both of us.We saw old classmates and teachers.
It was a good Day.One other thing I want to say is that Williams
Teacher has won me over. Her previous students kids all came to her with
open arms today .The way she acted towards them is what did it. You can
read the love in her eyes how she feels towards them.!!

PLAY DAY 2011

William having Great Fun at the playground. All was well untill a crazy cat started running towards us. William freaked out and we left soon after that. Mainly due to last night. Our newly Aquired cat decided she would jump in his bed at 345am. He screamed at her and ran off yelling "No Thank You" but before the cat. We saw 2 trains, 3 fire trucks and a Police car.
