I'm Proud to say that " I am now a owner of a Autism Awareness Car Decal " ! Yeah , I'm guilty for being a complete cheese ball goof over it too. I ordered it a few weeks ago . To my surprise they were on back order. You just never think about something so small like that would be on back order. Just makes you feel like your not alone in this even more. So yesterday when the UPS guy dropped off my package It was like getting the winning lotto ticket. I ripped open that box like a crazy mad child at Christmas time. I was so excited over it. I was ready to announce to the word that My child has Autism and I'm Proud of it. I was so thrilled over it I ran right outside and stuck it to our car. No I didn't wash the car. That's on today's " To DO list". So.....
This morning was our typical morning. William not wanting to get up, Running down the hallway from me and closing himself in the office. But once I kept on with him he came willingly to get dressed and insisted I put his cloths on. I think we did that in record breaking time too. So off to school we went. William watched out the window as we headed towards his school. He was excited to go today. I was also watching out the window too. I wanted to make sure I didn't lose our new decal. It's a magnet but....I was still nervous over it. We got to school and I hopped right out the car and the first thing I checked was to make my ribbon had not flown off . Nope it was still there. Phew.. I took William to his class and then I headed back home. While I was going home I couldn't help but spot another MOM in a vehicle in front of me that had a ... Autism Awareness decal too. A heart warming smile came across my face. Nope I'm not alone and I now have Proof.
I shopped around before I ordered. The only place I felt that I should buy from was the NAA. The money collected goes towards the Organization and not some Rich man's big pockets. So it was well spent and worth the wait. 3$ for the Decal and because I'm such a good talker I only had to pay a 1$ for shipping and handling. LOL..Less then 5$.

I display my ribbon proudly too!!
Any progress with William on potty training? None here yet :-(
Don't feel bad about being excited... I ordered a wristband for World Autism Awareness Day and I was pretty excited about that. Unfortunately, not excited enough to remember it before I left the house this morning, so... it's sitting on my kitchen counter. :o(
